The last wedding ceremony of 2012

I’ve got a bit behind on the blogs!! Christmas and New Year have gotten in the way, but hopefully I’ll be back on track.

This week I want to talk about the last ceremony of 2012, it was a wedding ceremony held on the roof top terrace of a hotel in the south of Tenerife.

It was very romantic and beautifully decorated. The weather however was cloudy, but still has rays of sunshine coming through the cloud, so it was still very nice but not the typical weather couples come to Tenerife for to have their ceremony.

It was a very intimate ceremony with only the bride and groom, their daughter and the bride’s mother. The idea of a big wedding for the couple was just not their thing.

The ceremony lasted about 20 minutes, the bride was choked up with the vows I had written it was very emotional, for me as a celebrant I know I have done my job properly when the words I have written go straight to the heart, I know that this couple will take those words and cherish them for their life time, they will show the ceremony and certificate to their family and friends, they can actually say “this was written for us” I wonder how many couples can say that??

After the ceremony, champagne and photos they then went to the gala evening in the hotel, I bet they were the best dressed people there!! What an absolute great Idea for a reception.

Until next time

Xx
